About the instructor

Elizabeth Williams is an award-winning Toronto-based brand and communications expert who works at the intersection of marketing and HR to help organizations have better conversations with customers, candidates, employees and shareholders. Her clients include banks, food and beverage companies, technology organizations and, most recently, several of Canada’s larger cannabis companies.
She started her career as a reporter and later moved into corporate communications and marketing. Prior to founding her consulting practice, she was the head of brand and communications for ADP Canada, and held senior brand, communications and marketing roles at Rogers Communications, Constellation Software, Bank of Montreal, Aon, and a few agencies and technology start-ups along the way.
When she’s not consulting, she writes the syndicated BizMarketer blog, is an editor for Thomson-Reuters Carswell, and a part-time professor at Centennial College. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s in Professional Communications.
